• Not being energetic or having excessive fatigue affects your daily routine and could be directly linked with depression. Just another symptom of the illness.
• One big symptom is losing interest or joy in activities that you one enjoyed. This could be something that friends notice right away.
• Another big symptom would be drinking excessively or drug use.

• With some people, depression becomes unbearable. Getting help from a professional is something that needs to be done before the depression completely takes over. If you are a friend of someone that you think is depressed, and is showing some or all of these symptoms it is time to get them some help.
